tires for 2002 1500

Hi all, I did a search but couldnt find what I was looking for. Im wondering what tires would be best for my 2002 1500 w/out mods. I want to raise it a few inches but can't afford that at the moment so I'm looking for larger tires but don't want the worries of tire clearance.

Thanks for the suggestions.

what tire size came stock? most likely 245/75's and if thats the case you can fit 265/75's just fine and maybe 285/75's. also id the truck 2 or 4 wheel drive? this effect the height of the truck.

Ifr it's a 2wd, i'd probably stay around a 265/75 or so. Any larger and its likely to scrub in turns and especially when the suspension is compressed and your turning.

dude...there's no way in hell 305/75's will fit on a 2wd truck. and the thread was 2 weeks old anyway.

Sorry! Didn't see that it was a 2WD. My bad. I have a 4WD and they fit on there.
