funny sound?

i did a b20a5 swap in my 89 integra and when i mash the gas it sounds like there is a cricket in the car, and also the car keeps bottoming out how do i stop that?

sound s like valve tick, a very easy fix. just grab a shop manual for the car, rather for the b20a5(whatever you got it from, which i think is an 88-91 prelude) and check the manual for the correct specs on the valves, and adjust them accordignly.

as far as bottoming out, try replacing your shocks/struts.
