Found a genius way on hooking up fog lights!!!
For Christmas I got some Cyber White Navigator H3 foglights which don't match the car quite well, but they are totally functional and well worth the money. But I got them mounted, ran the wires through one of the rubber grommets on the firewall back toward the fuel filter and it came out under the glove box. Well since the power wire is supposed to run straight from the battery, I didn't think that was a good idea, because what if I left them on, then my battery would run down and I would be screwed.
So I came up with an idea. Since my car does'nt have A/C and no button for it, there was plastic tab in it's place. i took the tap out and found the a/c plug behind it. So I was thinking, hey, this would be a great place to put the fog light switch, cause it would make it look a little more stock than normal. So I run out to radioshack, pick up a square, round button with led, tryed it out and it fit perfect. I mean it clipped right and is flushed with the climate controls, it's tight and looks factory So then I'm thinkin about the power and ground. I thought since most hondas are already plugged and powered up for accessorys (clock, etc) the a/c plug should have power to it. So I check it out and sure enough, with the key turned in the on position, the power is there and there is a ground wire too. So I clip the two wires and run them to the switch and the run the fog lights cable that I drug in from the firewall up to the switch inside the wire harness and bam, it all works great. So now the fog lights will only work with the key in the ignition and I didn't have to run any power or ground wires, it was all right there. I haven't had a single problem yet. This is perfect if you ever want to add an accessory. But you have to have no A/C for it to work. KUDOS for us base hatch owners

The nice thing about this mod is that the voltage is exactly 12 volts too.

Re: Found a genius way on hooking up fog lights!!!
I just thought it was neat since the power and ground were right there and I didn't have to run wires for them.
