Another 96 Tahoe 5.7 Hard Starter...

I've seen alot of threads here on this subject ... but thought I would add my specifics to see if one of you guys has a silver bullet.

'96 Tahoe, 5.7 4WD 2 Dr with 83K.

Been hard to cold start for about 1.5 years. Took to the Dealer for diagnosis, they tested injectors, fuel rail pressure, leak down, etc. Could not find any problem. No Codes either. Suggested running a few bottles of injector cleaner thru .. since done.

In the Winter time, it wouldn't generally start without having the block plugged in for a bit. Now, problem also occurs if trying to start in the heated garage. Plugging in the block heater generally made it start ... but as of last night, nothing is making it start.

A few particulars, engine spins fine. When it starts, it runs perfectly. Never stalls, doesn't hesitate. No fuel gauge irregularities noticed. New plugs, filters, battery, etc. All the normal stuff. Truck does not get regular use. It generally sits for 2 weeks at a time without being run.

Any ideas?
