Progress: S15 and 510

I decided to start these since its to cold outside to do any final painting. I have nothing better to do anyway.

The first is one a got for christmas. Like everyone else it seems, I got the Aoshima S15 Silvia Spec. R Aero Version. Its almost completely finished. Its built basicly out of the box, a quickie to pass the time.



A couple bodyshots, those are the wheels that came with the kit, and of course, you can see it is primed.


You can see the "real spring suspension", its alright, I painted the springs green to simulate tien springs.


Heres a nice shot of the underside, it was some much fun to paint the details of it *sarcasm*



And finally the last of the S15, the interior. I didnt put much work into it, mainly I just wanted to get it done. So I left everything the stock plastic color, except for the green and some flat black and gloss black. I still have to put in the shift knob and e-brake.

Now Onto the 510. Its a Revell 510, the tuner series one. I have been working on it on and off for a couple months, but just decided to buckle down and finish it.

and finally the wheels and brakes, they are 17" RS Wantabes from Fujimi and the brakes came with the kit.

and last but not least, the first of my three 180's I'm going to build. This one will be straight out of the box, one of the others I am building for my girlfriend and the other is going to be exact as I can get replica of my 1:1 240sx, I am hoping to even build a replica of my ka24de engine it in. Well anyway heres the picture of the first of three.

A scratch built ka24de, wow that going to take a while, ever thought of a "ka24det", and is the exhaust from the S15 from the kit?

Yep, its gonna be a tough challenge, but I really want to do it and do it right. I already have some ideas of what I want to do. And the exhaust is from the kit, pretty nice isn't it?
