differential oil seal experience
Has anyone had success installing the right-side differential oil seal on a P10? I have the seal from the dealer (Nissan part #38342-8E001). I will have no problem getting the driveshaft in and out because I have done it before. And I understand that I will use a large socket as a drift to drive the seal into the differential. I am concerned, however, about getting the seal inserted and seated properly. Has anyone done this job successfully while the trans was on the car? I am trying to decide whether I can do it in correctly or I need to face reality and take it to a trans shop or (gulp) the dealer.
Thanks for sharing your experience. |

I don't have experience with replacing these on a these cars but I have a Haynes manual that covers it. What do you need to know?
