opinion 73 351 coupe pony

i got a 73 coupe mustang with a 351 on it, and im not sure what are the first steps for making the car run good. hope u can help me out

Depends on the state it is in. If it runs, and just needs a little work, then just do a basic tune-up. Run out and get some plugs, wires, carb rebuild kit, and some carb cleaner. Normally this is all that is needed to pep a sick motor right up!
