Camshaft Sensor

I have the CE Light and the code is 214. Where is the camshaft sensor located? The Haynes manual says for the V6 (1994) its on the rear of the block. I dont see it, is this a big job? Thanks

Re: Camshaft Sensor

I am curious... did you ever get this solved? I have battled the same problem in my 94 Escort for awhile now. I changed the cam sensor but it didn't fix the problem. My next step is to try the ICM, but I really am at a loss... pretty much guessing at this point.
