Thumbs down Ignition / Blower problem

Hey folks I've got a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4. I have had a recurring ignition problem that the dealer just hasn't gotten right. Apparently my ignition switch is shorting out and causing the electronics (the actual circut board behind the switches) for the AC/Heater blower to be inoperable and short out as well. The truck is going back to the dealer for the 5th time for this problem, and I'm 2250 miles until my 3yr/36000 warranty is up. Please help?

Also has anybody had a problem with the tourque converter? My Dodge sits for a day or two and will not move after I start it. I generally have to wait about 5 minutes in drive befoer it slowly catches. The dealer some how can't duplicate this problem on my truck and has never heard of this problem before.

Thanks Drew.

On older models the ignition wire harness can't handle the blower on high, so the dealer needs to install a relay. You should tell this to the dealer service writer. You might want to check to see if it was part of a recall.
