help me out on stupid noob questions

okay i have 2 stupid questions here, yes i searched but i think they are too stupid.

Where the heck does the wind shield washer fluid go? i CAN NOT find it in the engine bay. dealther ship told me near the fire wall on the drivers side. this didn't even help me. please help. if you could get a picture of an engine bay and make an circle where it is it would be great

second stupid question. Is there an orange light that goes on when your washer fluid is low? cause it does on when i floor it, i thought it was a shift light but now it comes on longer and looks like a washer fluid symbol. left side of gauge cluster, orange light.

Re: help me out on stupid noob questions

AWD cars had the washer fluid reservoir in the rear hatch. When you open the hatch, there is a little rubber plug on the left side near the weather striping and drain tubes. Thats where you fill it. What you are decribing for that light certainly sounds like the washer fluid warnig light.

Edit> Just read the fine print in your sig, and man is that a challenge in my current hungover state. If you have a GST, ignore what I said above, and let one of the front drivers answer

Adit again> OR perhaps the reservoir had to be moved all turbo cars, not just AWD as I stated above. Yeah, I feel like I got hit by a bus, and I'm obviously in no condition to be posting...

Re: help me out on stupid noob questions

yeah i found the one in the back hatch, and filled it up with a lot of fluid. i had have of one of those bottles and put it in, didn't fill it up. seems like it holds a ton for the real washer.

On an AWD its the reservoir for the front and rear. Holds about a gallon.

Re: help me out on stupid noob questions

okay i think you are right about its in the back for both gst and gsx i was just told by someone that the gst the reservoir for the front and rear is located in the front, but you put the fluid in the hatch. can someone confirm this?

I think what Kevin said goes for the GST as well, I drive a 95 Talon TSi FWD and I taken the motor out twice and have never seen a resevoir in the engine bay.
