b16 head gasket

does anyone know the thickness on a factory b16 headgasket? i want to get a thinner one to race compression.

im pretty sure its .028" but the different models (i.e. CTR) might have different sizes

even if you removed the thickness of headgasket, that would, like you say "race compression" only increase just a little and almost no effect.

do some calculation. the basic formula is C.R. = V1/V2. it looks pretty simple but it takes more than that.

C.R. actually depends on the duration of camshafts opening and closing point of the valves.
