stereo installation(no acc on ignition)

i just installed a new cd player in my 98 contour but car has no acc on ignition.i hooked the acc wire from stereo to harness and now my battery keeps draining.where do u hook up the acc wire if car doesnt have acc with out killin battery but keeping power to memory?

form what i understand the acc is a wire that connects to the cd player that gives the deck power when the key is turned to the ACC position, this is why you are able to listen to the music when the car isnt on, when you dont have that wire connected to the acc wire then it will turn on when you have your car on acc but when you turn it off it drains your batt. so you may have the wrong wires connected.
