xmods problems

i tried looking around to see if a post like this existed... but no luck.

i got a black skyline gtr 1999 xmod, but have a problem. when i switch it all on and push the trigger, it goes for a little while then stops and is not responsive... even when i hold it in my hand for a moment. I consider it to be not a battery problem but it could be.... any ideas? it's not just range because when i hold it in my hand and let it just spin (i call it my make believe dyno) it stops and does not respond... any ideas?

Re: xmods problems

Take it back to radioshack and ask them for help....tell them your toy RC car is broken and you want to know why.

Honestly, an Xmod isn't really a real RC car, it's a toy in essence and as such not serviceable like a real RC (or as easy to narrow down problems with).

Re: xmods problems

eh... well honestly i don't care what anyone else thinks... i like it so i'm happy with it. I asked the guy at radioshack whom lead me to the battery isle... just needed a new battery. It's nice now.
