03 wrx impreza

My friends brother has a 03 impreza, thats pretty ok lookin (think they look like roaches IMO) but he took it to the track and ran a 14.9 He borrows his car every once in a while and now wants to mess with me because i finally got a boosted car. Now will i get murdered on the freeway or will it be ok? Because screw the streets because 1 his is awd and 2 theres too many cops were i live. Im not telling you guys to tell who is gonna win, just if i got a chance. My car is stock only got an aftermarket air filter. I have the hardpipe, but too lazy to put it on. lol

Re: 03 wrx impreza

a stock GST is supposed to run 1/4 mile at 14.9. but you have more weight because its a convertable. but his 1/4 mile time also takes into consideration the ability of an AWD launch. on the highway taking that factor out you should win. also on the highway he's going to have a little drive train loss. i'd say asuming are you comparable drivers, and both are manuals you should win. depending on the condition of your car.

if it is close, if you got an intake, IC pipes and a bov that should close the gap.
