Exclamation 84 svo won't start

about a week ago when i was going to a frineds house a went out side started up my car it started fine ran at idle (around 2k rpm i need to replace the idler control valve) then it droped down to 1k rpm which it never did and ran fine then a few min. later i went to pull out of my driveway...got to the end of it and it died. i tryed to start it but it wouldn't start. it would turn over and and want to start you could hear it firing a cyl but it wouldn't start. and now it won't evan try to start. all it'll do is turn the engine but and that's it.

one of my friends thinks it might be the fuel filter i'm swaping that out on new years. my boss thinks it's either the dist. or the fuel pump. if it's the fuel pump it wont be that hard to replace. it's a out of tank fuel pump. but if it's the dist then that's going to be a little hard.

i think it might be something with the bosst adjuster. i've been having problems with boost here lately i keeps on throwing a " Q boost ego" light which i have no idea what it means all i know is that if the boost goes higher than 20psi the engine auto. turns off to prevent blowing the engine.

thanks for the help
