My first ride!

Hey you guys,

my buddy showed me this site. He said I'd like it since I am a big everything auto fan. I have a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport that I got from my grandpa. Does anyone know of any cheap ($1500 or less) mods that I could do and not make it look ricey? I was thinking about new 20s or maybe a billet grille. I am not that great with mechanics so that's out of the picture, for now anyways.

Thanks for the help!

Go to this site and plug your trucks info in and it will show you everything that you can think of to up grade your new truck. I wouldn't just look for the 1st thing that costs 1500 though. Think about what you want to do. Do you want to make it faster, make it look better, run better and then go from there. Here's the link

http://www.TruckPerformance.com

Theres plenty of bolt on stuff and things under the hood that you could do like a cold air intake or better spark plug wires. There's new grill inserts, bumpers, mirror, the list goes no and on.

Have fun!

Re: My first ride!

Well you can't not make it look ricey if you put those stupid twenty inch wheels on it. Don't be silly.

well like I said, Im not too mechanically inclined, so I'm gonna for looks first. Maybe taillights, and a brushgaurd. I might wanna do an audio/video install later.

Re: My first ride!

I see that. I know they're from a new Ram, that's too bad.

When I see that I have horrible visions of Snoop Dogg rolling up in that truck and a bunch of ho's jumping out of the box. Rams used to look like trucks, now these new ones are just oversized cars with pimp wheels on them. Looks so horrible. A very sad topic.

LOL, yeah what a horrible vision. You know what else is a horrible vision? A Ram with Auto Zone rocker panels, lame ass non functional hood and funky red grill inserts. Looks like something from the ghetto to me.

Happy new year!

Re: My first ride!

Happy new year to you too dude.

The ghetto? That's a good one.

The rocker panels aren't from Auto Zone and they actually cost a little bit of money. That's cool though.

My hood is actually functional now...

hey man, I never meant to start anything with anyone. I'm just the new kid on the block. I like the new Rams, but sadly, I have seen way to many with huge pointless "bling" on them. Sad, sad world we live in.

Happy new year!

Happy new year to you too. Sadly I have seen a Ram at autozone with those stupid "aluminum" floormats and a "Fast and Furious" set of green and blue lite up floormats.
