front windsheild replacement
Just got done detailing the outside of my gsx today beautiful!! while I was buffing the hood I found some chips on the wind sheild, small but noticeable. How much do you think a new wind sheild will cost? I have also found some kits from 3M that is literaly sanding wheels that will take out chips,scrapes buy sanding what do you guys think?

$376 for a new windshield.
Atleast thats what it cost me when my old roomate decided a boulder would look good through it!

call up some local places. i got mine for 150 installed.

my insurance covers it 100%. when my old windshield wiper blade filler came off(cheap), it left a big ass scratch in the glass when i turned the wipers on. gotta get that fixed...

There are some cheaper windshields out there that I wouldnt trust in an airbag car. The glass has to support the airbag when your dome smashes into it. I only use places that use factory approved glass, it is about 300 bucks in this case. In some states, like mine, glass is fully covered with comprehensive. Even if it is a small ding they will pay for it to be repaired/replaced, since that is also a safety issue, the integrity of the glass is compromised.

Wow, that is amazing. In Alberta, Canada we have to buy special windshield insurance, it is not covered with the rest of the windows. That especially sucks because I have had to replace three windshields...all just before I sold the car. damned theives and punk kids
