after i drove it for a while i noticed that first to second doesn't shift as hard and the overall feel of the tranny shifts sucks any ideas or comments? |

5 quarts
but i think i have to add an extra quart because i let it drain overnight and that probably dripped out another quart. The owner manuel probably goes by an average of how many quarts come out of a quiker change. Damm thing still leaks though! probably a unlevel pan |

Well since you put in synthetic fluid you essentially mixed it with mineral based fluid because the torque converter doesn't drain when you drain the trans. To change fluid you'd need to do a complete flush and fill fo the fluid, this usually runs around $100 for regualr mineral based oil,,,for synthetic you can figure on quite a bit more.

Re: Tranny Question
well, for just a fluid change, that is about right, remember that the engine has to be running when you check the fluid level. as far as the leaking pan, you probly over torqued the bolts this crushes the gasket and causes leaks. other than that, dunno boss, not a trans guy
