Type SH vs. Type S

I've been wondering what the technical differences are between the Type S and Type SH.

I'm planning on modding my SH some starting next year (just got a raise and I was wondering whether it makes more sense to get JDM parts to make her more like a type S or US aftermarket parts totry and exeed the Type S's performance.

Any opinions?

Re: Type SH vs. Type S

Horsepower and market.

The extra horsepower from the S spec H22 is from higher compression pistons. Besides that and some minor tuning, the playing field for S spec and regular H22 is the same. Skip JDM pistons and get aftermarket ones that are more durable.
