DTC P0446 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent System Performance

There is no way to check this at home, but could have been caused by a loose fuel fill cap.

Re: code 0446 evac emission wiring

hey thanks ricksza i guess i'll have someone check it out. another problem that i have would be the shifter on the floor, when i put it in park and i turn the key to the off position it won't lock the steering wheel and i can't get the key out. and when the truck is off the shifter easily goes in to gear, when before it would lock. what can i do?

The key won't turn to the release position unless it knows that the shifter is all the way in park. There is a cable from the shifter to the ignition lock cylinder. So most likely either the cable is sticking or the shifter isn't going all the way to park.
