3.8 supercharge park ave 95 changed many parts

well this is what i have changed first fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator,,alternator, cam sensor, crankshaft senor, mass airflow sensor ,ignition module, I have learned alot about this car but its still not working right second time i changed the fuel pump the first one was only giving me 35 pounds of pressure havent checked the second one yet. If i get it started it will run for a few minutes and then one to act like it wants to die .When i was driving it the problem was i could be driving 50 steady on the gas then when i let off the voltmeter and all my guages drop fast now at idle when it starts to cut out my voltmeter goes up and down anyone have a clue i am just about at my end on this .I am ready to give it to the shop .Not alot of funds here but i have to get it running anything would be greatly appreciated

Re: 3.8 supercharge park ave 95 changed many parts

well, if the engine idles evenly and the volt meter goes up and down it surely is an electrical problem.. dirty battery poles, bad ( even if new) alternator, wiring making a short circuit... starter motor grounded, putting the juice to the ground chassis of the car, i've seen this once on a pontiac tempest 1989 with a 2.8 V6. don't forget, some thing might be short circuit ONLY when the power is on, so the battery can't go discharging since the engine - alternator is compensating

id check connections..

first thing i'd do, get the car to idle, then remove eache fuse one by one, exept the ones that keep the engine idling of course,

if that fails, get the car checked in. it cant cost THAT much to have it diagnosed witht the OBD1 ( or 2) i dont know if 1995 had OBD1 or 2

it can tell you ALOT.. then post it here.. so we cn all share it and help you out if you need to change anything.

but i've seen brand new alternators and battery go bad , even new.. so dont exclude those just yet.

Deadring

happy new year y'all
