WIP: Mercedes-benz 300CE

I finally got this kit.
I was suprised by the quality of the body but the chassis and the interior were a little disappointment.
I'll build the car basicly stock, except the wheels which I'll change.

The hood painted with first final coat, still needs sanding and more painting..

Sweet color, I´m not sure about the wheels though they probably will look badass but we´ll see. Keep up the progress dude!

I've painted all the parts. Now I just need to assemble everything.
So far I've completed the chassis and about 99% of the interior, it still needs a bit painting.
The painting of the body was a real nightmare. I don't know what did I do wrong but it seemed impossible to get a good surface...

Also because I don't have any bmf I'll have to paint the grill and lights with regular silver, ending up with result which doesn't look realistic..

Hi,

nice model so far. The wheels look great, but the distance between the upper part of the tires and the wheel-wells (especially in the rear) seems to be a little bit too big. Can you change it?

That color looks sweet with those rims. Great model so far.

The car is finished now..
The paint looks a bit "off the scale." Probably the flash of my camera shows more metallic shine than you can see with bare eye..
I don't know what to say about this model..
In some areas I managed to do a good job, but in some areas, like the painting, I did do many mistakes...
