Finished: Yellow Skyline R32

Hi there,

well it's finally finished. This is the Tamiya Calsonic Skyline R32 GTR. Without engine but with loads of nice detailes I took some nice pictures outside today. Here's a link to the progress thread:

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=281233

This is a list of mods/details:

- CF Hood (SAS)
- CF SAS C-west GT Wing
- Custom front bumper
- Custom skirts
- Custom rearbumper
- Aluminium muffler
- Enkei NT03 19 inch rims
- Tamiya Raybrig NSX disc brakes
- Lowered (could have been a little more, as I noticed in the end...)
- Scratchbuild subwoofers
- Scratchbuild Alpine amplifier including wiring
- Havily modified interior floor

Well, here are the pics, I hope you guys like it. Tell me what you think!

Thanks for looking.

Allthough I´m not a big fan of this kind of tuning, I think it´s a very nice build and shows that you are a talented builder.

Keep it up!

Re: Finished: Yellow Skyline R32

It turned out pretty darn good...and I still love yellow cars so you might say that I'm partial I wonder why there is so little yellow cars in my collection after all. Come to think of it, I have mostly white and blue cars Need to rectify that next year....and that's tomorrow wonder what happend to good old '04.
Once again, nice build hope to see more like this in the nearby future.

Happy new year!
Niclas

I don't like the smoothness auf the frontbumper. I think that is a bit against the overall lines of a R32 Skyline. But nonetheless a cool build!

I love it!. Only thing against it is the lines near the taillights, but its fantastic. GJ

Yes, the front bumper looks like it was made from just putty rather than sheet styrene, which is a bad thing.

Also, I would have have thought more about the panel lines because at the moment it looks as though the front and rear bumpers would be formed as a single unit with the main body, which on a full size car they aren't.

Overall it is a nice model, but it takes more work on the details including clean masking to make a model look fully realistic.

Nice Skyline, but Skunk2 (http://www.skunk2.com/)doesn't make any parts for the Skyline mostly parts for Hondas. I'm just telling you this b/c I got curious.

Re: Finished: Yellow Skyline R32

Nice looking effort.
IMO it would look better with no amp wiring to give it a nice-tidy look
