Question keyless entry

I just purchased a 1999 GMC Sierra 4WD Truck. When I bought it, the dealer did not have any keyless remotes with it, but the original price sticker was in the glove compartment, and it did say that it originally came with keyless.

So, besides going to the GMC dealer and asking what keyless remotes I can use, it there a way I can find out what numbers I need so I can just buy them off of ebay?

thanks!

Re: keyless entry

HI, thanks for the thread. I had did a search and seen that one before. It has some good info in it on how to program the keyless remote, but I was more wondering what "number" remote I need....or are they all the same (as long as it is for you model vehicle and year)?

Re: keyless entry

Hello everyone. I just bought a 93 New York 4d sdn. I do not have the money to pay $100.00 for a new remote and programing. Anyone know how to program this keyless remote?
