engine swap

i have an 89 rs with a 305 TBI....i want a 350....n e suggestions?

That depends on what you are looking to do with the car....An LT1 would be a good addition.

a lt1 would cost a lot more than a 350 i would buy a 350 n it should b a pretty basic swap.

you could get a 350 out of an old ck truck or a suburban they had 350 tbi in them so its the same fuel injection system if your worried bout it or you could go one step futher for about the cost and get a 400 sb... they have really good low end torque and can be made to run better tword the top

i just fell into a 350 4 bolt main with a 700r4 wit a shift kit for $500...i have one last project and it will be all set...the only thing i need now is a body guy that can replace a quarter....the lowest i have gotten an estimate for is 1200...if anyone by chance knows any good body guys that will do work on the side in the buffalo, ny area lemme know...thanks

i put a 350 out of a 93 silverado in my 90 camaro, it was a tbi engine. all you have to do is swap engines and have a custom chip burned for your computer. my camaro was a tbi 305 too.

yeah after i get the headers, hood and intake for this engine i will slowy start to try and rebuild an engine im stuck though as of which to get 350 tbi or 400 and convert to tbi

why are you sticking witht he tbi? why not go to carb---i find it much easier to find performance enhanncers for either carb or tpi...

well tpi the parts seem to be alot more expensive and im not planning on buildin a track car i belive i can find the mods to set me about 300 to 350 hp for the tbi and as for carb i for one know nothing about tunning a carb and two why take a step backwards fuel injection if done right will make more horsepower than a carb part for part
