Need a quick and cheap way to fix cutoff!!!

I got a 91 integra Ls

My problem is that my cutoff is now at approx. 3200 RPM. I recently change my rotor and cap. Sometime it's ok but most of the time it jam at 3200 RPM. There a little squik noise that seem to come from my distribution module. But I think it may be a sensor because when the engine light is on, the problem occur and when I start it and the engine light is off, every thing goes normaly.

Can someone help me with that Please!!!

bring your car to autozone and have them pull the code off of you ECU and tell us what code it is, that way we can better help you.

somehow this doesn't sound correct... if anything they would only check 96 and newer because it would be 1 standard OBDII plug from 96 on.

Autozone will check it. It is extremely hard to help you without the code.

and the autozone checker thing only works when the check engine light is on. if its not on it doesnt help. but 89 tegs and earlier u can check it easier by looking und the passenger seat and count the lights long means ten and short mean one. same idea on the 90-93 comput under the floor mat theres a red light u can check just as easily. same thing they do at the dealership.
