Can't Decide on Which Chrysler

In about a month and a half, I will be buying a "new" car.

I'm looking to purchase a Chrysler. This will be a daily driver - average about 40 miles/day.

A local family owned dealership has 3 Chryslers I'm thinking about taking a look at (found them via their website - haven't called or went there).

Chrysler Cirris Sedan - 1997 -- with 54,198 miles -- $3000 (2.5L V6 SMPI SOHC 24V)

Chrysler Concorde LXI Sedan - 1998 -- with unknown miles (will call next week) -- $3000 (3.2L V6 SMPI SOHC ALM)

Chrysler 300M Sedan -- 1999 -- with unknown miles (will call as well) -- $5000 (3.5L V6 SMPI SOHC ALM)

I'm not sure if there is anything wrong with any of these, I'll find out when I can call them next week (they're closed until the 3rd).

Out of your experience, which would be the best for a daily driver? I'll also be transporting 2 kids with this, so it has to be carseat friendly (easy in and out, etc)?

Any other info/experience you have give me on these cars, would be greatly appreciated as well!

I think the Concorde would be the better bet, it's roomy in front and back, has a trunk large enough to hide bodies or in your case a couple of strollers with room to spare. Gas mileage is around 16-20 city depending on how much stop and go driving you do, on the road though you get around 26-30 quite easily which is excellent for such a large car. The 300M is a more sporty model and will probably ride a little rougher and I think the back seat area is not as roomy as the Concorde. Both the 3.2L and 3.5L engines are also 24 Valve engines and both are pretty reliable as well as powerful for their size.
Can't say much about the Cirrus, I don't really know much about them.

My Dad had a Cirrus. He loved it. Never had any problems with it and had like 180,000kms. Has room for a family and is a good buy if it runs good

But hasn't the Cirrus had some problems with it (I can't remember specifically - my husband would know )??

I'm going to be driving about 35-40 miles/day.

Would you recommend any of these for an at home mechanic? My husband would be doing most of the work on it. So anything that doesn't require to take apart half the car to get to something simple (like the battery), would be ideal

Any known problems with any of these 3? (major downfalls, etc).

A relative a mine had a car lot and said for the last few years Chrysler was making a much better product, with the Concorde being the one he liked best.
