Integra Front Hubs on CRX?

I'm missing a stud on my right hub since I had to switch em when I did my swap. Can I get front hubs/brakes the whole arm from an integra that will bolt right up? If so what year? Thanks.

Re: Integra Front Hubs on CRX?

You can get a stud for like $2 at Advance Auto and put it on in like ten minutes. My buddy broke one on the way from NJ, then broke another one removing the wheel from the car to replace the one that was broke so he had to go get another one. He's had no problems since. Sorry it doesn't answer your question though....

Re: Integra Front Hubs on CRX?

No, that does answer my question. All I really want is my stud fixed. But how the hell do you install it? I looked at the studs and it seems like you have to take the whole damn spindle apart. Looks like they are pressed in there.

You have to hammer them out, then use a nut with a few washers and a impact to get the new one to seat. or beat the crap out of it from the back, wich ever works.

Re: Integra Front Hubs on CRX?

My friend took a grinder to edge a tiny notch in his new studs to lock in place. I didn't really watch him put them on cuz at that time I was scratching my head trying to figure out how to unseize my rear brake caliper piston...

I did try hammering them out, but the hub blocks the path, they won't come out straight, looks like you have to disassemble the whole hub.

can't you just turn the wheel all the way to one side and get it out?

Re: Integra Front Hubs on CRX?

to answer your question, yes i have personally bolted up a teg hub assembly onto jer's car when it was a project and not his daily driver. i was quickly told by dropshop as the camber will forever be off. this sparked a debate thread on the subject. i don't think we ever came up with a deffinate answer so i pulled them back out and put the civic back in.

do a search and see if you can find the thread...i think i started the thread (lol). somebody had just put in the teg hubs as well and was going to get it alligned to see what the final word was. maybe you can get an update on it
