Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks

hey folks,
was wondering if anyone has opinion on Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks.

my 04 tl needs new shocks. i really dont want auto-cross or racing shocks (just too stiff). Sensa-Trac uses feedback to adjust damping.

just wondering if they are crap comapred to oem. if they are no good, can you recommend another shock?

i've looked at Koni, Bilstein, Tokico.... they are either non-available or are just too stiff.

thanks

If an '04 needs new struts already they should be replaced for free under warranty unless the car is lowered.

Monroe is best for stock springs, you never said if your car was lowered.

Re: Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks

i use pro kit springs and AGX's on my car with no complaints for a basic setup. Don't use any springs that lower the car more than 1.75" on AGX's and you will be fine.

Don't leave them on the stiffest setting as that will shorten the life of the struts.
