Ford Family Feud Kill

I call this Family Feud.
2003 Mach 1 with Borla Catback, Diablo Sport Predator , K&N Drop In vs. 2003 GT with Custom tune, Nitto's, 4.10 gears, hi stall converter, K&N FIPK, Flow Master full exhaust without cat's. And I will post it now.

The GT show up at the spot with his people picking on all but the EVO VIII and Trans Am’s. I felt he would let me be too, however he call me out like it was shit. I thought I had his milk in a jug period. We lined up for a ¼ mile run at night down a long ass straight street with big ass light poles every 12 car lengths.

Some drunk ass dude comes over with a Maglight and gets us ready then this fool gets side way warming up his used up Nitto’s. My Goodyear F1’s don’t help me when I do that stuff, but he made a good showing and if I lose without some type of burnout, the young groupies would think my car what shit so I did one too.

The drunk ass dude gave us three flashes and it was on. The bustard was out ½ a car length on me and I’m like isn’t that a GT. I hit second and spin the tires and we are evening this shit up. Then third comes and I start pulling after a third gear scratch. We ran the ¼ and I won with him a my gas tank, but he wouldn’t let up till we hit 130 mph. And I didn’t ether. Then we stopped, hell I was waiting on that Fast and Furious Nitrous steering wheel spray button to be hit. I’m so glad he didn’t have one or that would have been my ass.

After he told me more about that damn GT. He must run 13 flat in the ¼ mile. If I was stock that would have been my ass.

Re: Ford Family Feud Kill

Sounds like an effing awesome race...gotta love those 0-130 runs...this is going to sound lame by comparison but when I ran some dude with a souped up 99-00 civic Si, he was at my rear quarterpanel at the end of the 1/4....he was reeling me in slightly, he didn't lift off and I didn't wanna look like a pussy, so we both kept out it until I hit about 115-120(I don't know, I sure as hell wasn't looking at the speedo) by then he was ahead of me by about 3/4 of a car, and he put on his flashers, which really kind of pissed me off since it's not like he WHOOPED me...but yeah, I'm done going off on my tangent for now...but again, sweet race.

Re: Ford Family Feud Kill

That's interesting a Civic beat you at higher speeds. Most of them got nothing after 3rd. Just a long ass haul up to 100 mph. As your the mustang race, that's pretty cool you were both fairly even. I can't say I've ever gone that fast in any car. But good kill nonetheless. Late...

Re: Ford Family Feud Kill

I was surprised too...I guess those B16Cs have a lot more top end than I though....it was weird cuz I had him covered in 1st and 2nd gears(which is for a long way in my 4-speed auto car)...and then he just started creeping up on me when I hit 3rd, and before I knew it he was creeping past me...I was impressed and from that day on, I have a lot of respects for those little pocket rockets...Of course I didn't know the extent of his modifications, but it couldn't have been more than I have done to my car because our cars are both mid to high 15 second cars stock.

Since you are BMW man, what the chance in me runnig a 2004 M3. I knoow their nice car and can run. I here they are costly in mods cus eveything is high tech done already. Also i hear they are 13.5-13.2 in the 1/4 mile

Re: Ford Family Feud Kill

SMG ///M3s run between a 13.3 and a 13.5. The regular stick's run a 13.2 with a good driver, and possibly a flat 13 with a damned good driver. The SMG can shift faster, but its a bit heavier. I've heard that with a mild cam upgrade alone, its a 12.5 car with a real good driver. Mods are expensive, but if someone out there has the money, I'm sure its an easy mid to high 11 car. So if its stock, you'll win, but if its modded, then a drivers race.

Re: Ford Family Feud Kill

street racer 00...there is no B16C. 99-00 SIs have a B16A, 01+ have K20A2s. What're you're doing is confusing two motors...that being the 99-00s B16A and the integra GSRs B18C1. Anddd civics normally don't have anything down low but have a little but in the mid range..so I'm not surpised that it would catch up and pull away. Now onto the real story...are you sure that's the only mods he has? 13s flat in a GT with those few mods doesn't seem possible..but I could be wrong. No suspension or anything? I'm not trying to say you're BSing...but it sounds like theres something he isn't telling you. And it's an auto too, right? You said he had a stall..hm.
