Re: shift boot?

if it's like the 91 to 96 'scorts just remove the center console and the boot is attached on the bottom side...

How do i remove the center console? is it hard? i have a 00 escort but the center console seems to be the same for the most part as the 91-96's, not much of a difference that i can tell.

Re: shift boot?

i'm not sure on anything newer than '96...on my '94 the screws are on the bottom of the console near the floor...near the front ...middle ...and the rear.....the ones in the middle seperate the front half of the console from the rear half....i have to move my seats foreward or back to get to the middle screws....of course i'm not sure if the newer one is anything like mine...
