I Need Advice!!!
I have a 90 Talon tsi awd project car that im working on. It needs a clutch, fender, door, and a rear quater panel. It sounds like alot of work but other then that the car is mint, its a strong runner. I just found out that just get the new quarter panel welded that it will cost me close to $1000. I paid $700 for the car. Now im stuck, I think that I might just buy a 90-91 shell and try to put my engine in it, or find one with a good body and engine or tranny problems and then swap mine out. I just want to know which is smarter, keep mine and do the work, or buy a new one and start over. If anyone knows of any 90-91 awd dsms for sale in PA, let me know. I want to find something in the $1000 range. Thanks for the help.

Find a welding friend, or a local vo-techer. Hit up the junkyards, and there ya have it! Cheap all the way!
