Retail stores will rip you off when buying your games

The other day I went to both Eb Games and Gamestop and had the following games to sell.
- Enter the Matrix
- Medal of Honor: Frontline
- Midnight Club
- Red Faction II
- Deus Ex: The conspiracy
and numerous psone games.

After waiting for them to check them all out, the finally say, "We'll buy them all for $9.00." I was so mad cause these games all combined would cost maybe $30-40 most. So I took them back and finally, I went to the local pawn shops and they were so much better. One of the two shops bought five of my games (including some psone games) and offered $20. So I took it. Then went to the other pawn shop and they bought two games and offered $5. I took it and look at what I had left and I still had some really good games. But man, I got $25 and still had some games left over while EB games wanted to give me $9.00 for the whole lot. Here's a hint, always go to pawn shops and sell them there. You'll get more bang for you buck.

I'll take that advice! Why'd you trade in RF2? It's pretty good IMO. Then again, it's pretty old too.

Trading in games to an all game store sucks ass. One of my friends (the chinese one Shaguar) took in 14 brand new xbox games. He only got 18 bucks for them. I took in Red Mercury and Unreal 2 for xbox and got 8 bucks. thats it. But i took it because they only had 1 final copy of Age of Empires 2 Gold Edition.

eBay, all the way. I sold air force delta storm for xbox when it got discontinued on eBay for $70. I only paid 45 new, played it for a year and then sold it for 70, not bad. I know that is definitely not typical, but it a good way to buy and sell any way.

True, used games ain't worth shit to retailers. What I do is have yard sales every now and then and put my own price on stuff. You should do the same with your games cuz people will buy them. Ebay works, too.

I do the ebay thing. I look around for good deals on stuff i know isnt very common. Best ive had was a Turbo Grafx-16 CD add on system. Got it at a police auction for 30 bucks. Sold it on ebay a week later for $150.
