Trans shift problem 2002 cavalier

2002 cavalier automatic trans that runs fine but started in the mornings for the first few miles would slip out of overdrive or 4th gear then later in the day its just fine this happens almost always in the morning please give ideas thanks.

If it's an 02 isn't it still under warranty or have you done too much mileage? If it is then just go see the dealer.

The car has 90000k mile on it. the dealer wont give any ideas without making an appointment.
