engine swap

power is lacking on the 1.3 in the sami. does anyone know of a swap that is more or less a bolt on... would firefly work or sidekick?? what should i try to get my hands on??

I know of a few 1.6 and 2 litre diesels and aparantly a 4.6 litre cheveroloet V6 fits in it with ease!

A Swift Gt engine would bolt on,only wiring and little things to do.
A 1.6 out of a Sidekick would do,and you could even keep the carb,but would need a plate to fit the tranny to it.

Other than that a lot of engines have been swapped in a Samourai and if you search a little on the net you'll find some for sure.
