inline 6
i just bought my nova. im told it used to have a high-pro 396 in it, but the guy i bought it from had swapped in a 250. i have the mounts for a 396, and the car has air shocks and everything, it just lacks a beefy engine.
a) what kind of modifications can be made to an inline 6, and would it be worth my time? b) could i buy a block and an engine rebuild kit to make the engine i want? obviously i'd have to buy a new cam and carb and such, but would i have the main component for an engine? (go easy on me if im totally wrong about this) |

Re: inline 6
Yea, if you dont have the money to put a V-8 in, just wait on it and just keep the 6 running, but its not worth dumping money into a inline 6. As long as its running ok.
