1994 Intrepid Radiator fans wont come on

I have a 1994 Dodge Intrepid 3.5 The cooling fans will not come on. I thought it was fans, replaced em no improvement. Replaced thermostat, relays,Water pump, radiator still cant get fans to run. I am at my wits end but refuse to pay dealership $700.00 for a simple solution. Plz help!!!

When you replaced the thermostat did you check/replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor located near the thermostat housing? The CTS feeds info to the PCM and turns on the radiator fan. Also check the wiring/connections very closely between the sensor and the PCM. Another thing to look for is: Does the engine go to fast idle mode when you first start it (cold engine).

Is the fuse blown? There is a 40 Amp Fuse in the Power Distribution center for the Fans.

I solved the problem by running new wiring from the load side of the relays. The problem appeared to be an open circuit in the wirig harness going to the radiator fans, If anyone has this problem make sure youre getting power to the fans before doing all the other things. Be smarter than I was! Thank God I am an Electrician and Have at least basic wiring knowledge

I have the same exact problem with my 95 intrepid and change all including the CTS with no luck. It also idles fast as soon as I start it. Any suggestions?

If the engine goes to fast idle, and then back to normal idle as it should, then the sensor's are sending messages to the PCM, and the problem is probably the same as JayDee53's, no voltage to fans. Check the fuses fan relay's and wiring.
