amp blown???

ok so today i was installing a new amp and two new 10''s in my 01 eclipse spyder gt...so i looked at it as some time to ''BOND'' with my little brother...so everything is good, it takes about about an hour and i am explaing to him what we are doing and the last thing i had to plug in was the rca cables to the amp. sooo...i am finishing up in the cabin of the car...i tell my bro to hold the two wires apart and dont let them touch...so what does he do? plugs them into the amp...THE WRONG WAY!!! he put red to black and black to red... i know the amp worked before today but now it just shows that the amp is turned on but no sound is comin out of the subs at all!!! DOES THIS MEAN THE AMP IS BLOWN??? i checked all of the other plugs just to be sure and eveything else that i can think of is fine.

your help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!

Re: amp blown???

try checking the fuse. he might have just blown the fuse. i dont think that would have fried the amp
