Got my car back today (yay) and something broke (cry)

Ok as many of you know, my tranny/transfer case busted about 2 weeks ago. I got my car back tonight. I'm cruising along, and my bass was so loud it actually busted my rear view mirror off and it dropped onto my hand. It's cool and not at the same time. Cool because how many people can say they actually busted their rear view mirror off, and uncool cuz now I have to buy a new one.

no, it's busted. as in broke off of the piece that connects to the windshield

How is the new tranny. Do you feel any differece between this tranny and the older one before you busted it?

it's been 2 weeks since I've driven it, and when I started to drive it again it felt weird. I wasn't used to the power

all in all, I think it drives the same.

You can reglue it. Its easy to do. You first need to take the screo out of the mounting plate and slide the metal piece out. You can get a kit from any auto parts store. You have to glue it and set it. Once its set up put your mirror back on the mounting point. Oh and its not that big a deal. I've knocked my mirror off a few times.

i dont wanna glue 2 pieces of metal together, that won't hold for crap. I'm just gonna buy a new(used) mirror.

So then the peice where it secures to the windshield it still there but it broke the arm? If thats the case then yah get another mirror.

ive had the same thing happen to me gateway just go to walmart and by some apoxy that shit will work so good you cant rip it off and belive me cus ive tryed
