Malibu Brake bleeders

I am having a problem opening the bleeder valves on my Chevy Malibu 1999. I'm thinking of putting heat on it Acy/Oxy. This is what I tried so far...

-adjustable wrench ----> strips head
-vise grips ---> strips head of screw
-deep socket ----> strips

I am also trying to find new screws but I'm not sure of the size of them. I e-mailed GM and all they were able to tell me with the VIN was the head of it was 10 mm. Can anyone offer suggestions on the size?

First, have you tried using a good penetrating oil like PBlaster? I had one that wasn't coming loose and before I stripped it too bad, I used it and let it sit for 10 minutes...came right out. This is great stuff - allowed me to pull my O2 sensors with very little force what-so-ever.

As far as replacements, I was told to bring the old one in to my local parts store to match it up...it's the only way.
