95GASE Aftermarket speaker Install
Ok so i found this pair of Infinity Kappa 462.5cfp 2-Way Speakers on two different sites. One says it fits the 95 GAs the other says it doesn't. I don't know quite what to do. Second, anyone know how to get to the front speakers, like how to get off the grill? I plan on doing this myself, but i have no clue how to get to them. Circuit city's install is $70. Don't have that much cash. Any help in this would be great.

Re: 95GASE Aftermarket speaker Install
You will have to remove the door panel to get to the speaker mounts. Go to Autozone website and get detailed instructions on how to remove the door panel

Heres the deal on removing door panels.....There are four-five phillips heads around the perimeter of the door. Also you need to take the mirror covers off, or loosen to get the door panel off. Remove the long phillips screw under the arm rest and also remove the phillips screw holding the door lock switch. With a good tug pop the plastic holders that attach the panel to the sheet metal. You should get enough clearence to get to the speakers, if not you have to push the trim palte around the door handle through the interior door panel and swing the panel away so that you can see the speaker area. The speaker box is held in with 4 phillips screws...
Good luck...Just did 3 PW motors..... |
