Vtec Indicator problem
I have a problem I have created a vtec indicatior but i cannot get the damm thing to work. I have the long end of the LED soldered to a wire the red one. Then I have a resistor soldered to the short end the the resistor soldered to the wire(green) and that grounded to a screw. But when I was connection the red wire to the vtec signal wire with the clips the signal wire got cut by the clip and its all screwed up me and my friend tried to solder it back together. But what I dont know what to do is hook up the positive to the signal wire. I mean I had a clip on it before it broke so I took it off beacuse it wasnt working and when I tried to put it back on is when it work so what could I do. Oh yea and I also got the stranded wires not the solid core.

so you broke the wire on your ECU or just broke the clip from the LED? You dont need a clip and i wouldnt use one. You can use a wire tap and tap into the wire on your ECU, or just strip off some of the insulaion and wrap the positive wire from the LED onto it and put tape around it. Just make sure that wire on the ECU is never broked of your VTEC will not engage.
