Important question about wiring

Ok since my careless mistake not only fried the wires for taillights it also got the wires that go over the transfer case and i can't tell what they are. I need to know if I can order somewhere, the wires that connect to transfer case because they are fried and i'll need new connectors too. Is there anyplace online I can get them or would a dealership have them??

Re: Important question about wiring

There are some sites on the web that sell wiring and harnesses. Some are run by GM dealers. One such site is buyoemparts.com . You could do a Google search by entering wiring or wire harness for Chevrolet pickup in the search box and see what the results are. I have purchased a lot of parts for my GM vehicles online from the dealers at a much reduced cost than going to my neighborhood dealer.

I was able to salvage the piece though and everything works now but I've led myself to another question...On the driver side of the transmission towards the back up top there is a plug that has four prongs or whatever and I'd like to know what this is because it will not go down all the way to lock in place and if it's important.
