squeaky doors
2002 2500 4x4
Does anyone know what lubricant works best to stop the squeaks on the wheater stripping on quad-cab doors. The last time i was in the dealer they lubed it up, with what I'm not sure, but they made it worse. Tks much. |

Re: squeaky doors
I've heard silicon will both lube them up and help keep them supple.

WD40 is technically a solvent and if you use it on anything that you want to keep lubed up you are eventually going to do just the opposite...remove all the lube. Silicone is a good choice.

Re: squeaky doors
You can get the silicone spray at the parts store for around 3-4 bucks a can. Also works well on window guides.
