Re: My Lambo drawing

You deserve big props for undertaking a stipple project. But you need to take your time a little more. The dots are awfully sloppy.

And bushman, what mufflers?

I like the style. Its something different - that makes it look good. How did you do that?

Re: My Lambo drawing

Thanks guys. I just took a fine pointed marker and basically used dots to make the picture. And yeah I dont like the exhaust either but when you use a marker you cant erase.

Re: My Lambo drawing

Looks good. Like the style and looks especially cool from 20 feet away. How long did this take? Looks very time consuming.

Btw, would you be able to "erase" with white out or gouache paint?

Re: My Lambo drawing

it took me like 5 days. If were to erase with white out it would screw up the drawing so I just left it the way it was

Re: My Lambo drawing

It looks really good. Very cool to see point'l lism. Will you do more? I know a great artist that focus on point/stippling and guess what she has a book. Let me know if you want the title. I will have to pull it up from my book.doc file.

I have done a few, and always wanted to do one when where I actually count each dot as I go along.

Can I give you a tip? I hope you don't mind. When you go to make contact w/ the paper strike the paper straight down at a 90 degree angle. That will prevent the dots from looking like lil comets.

But that is great work.
