Hello out there!
I have been trying to get my Cruise Control to work. When I apply engine vacuum directly to the Vacuum side on the CC servo and simoultaneously apply 12 Vdc(connector to the ECA disconnected, and vent side no voltage) the electric coil port "does" open, but vacuum "resistance" is so high suction can't get to the diaphram in the servo to move the throttle linkage. When I bypass that the vacuum side "coil " and apply vacuum, the throttle linkage "does" move. Has anyone had a similar problem and managed to fix it? Right now i'm guessing my car is so old(190,000 miles) it can't generate enough vacuum to operate the CC.
Thanks
Rich
