Driver Side Wind Noise
I was wondering if any one experienced some wind noise from the driver side door/sliding door. It is my only beef with the van (After if fixed the manifold gasket)
I think there is a service bullitin for the problem but i was just wondering if anyone was able to fix it. As always, thanks for any help. Mike |

I've had the same problem with the front passenger door. When I drove it on the highway the noise was so bad it is as if someone left the window open. Took it to the dealer and they said there was a problem with the alignment of the door and the seal. They fixed it and the noise went away.

Wind Noise - Exterior Cowel at Windshield
I had this problem way back when van was new and amazingly enough the GM dealer had already dealt with it before. There is a plastic windshield cowel or plastic edge cover that creates the noise at generally higher speeds. The dealer applied double sided tape to it to adhere it to the windshield and it solved the problem. When the windshield was changed and the tape removed the noise came back so I taped it down again. The plastic edge cowel raises up at high speeds and cause a whistling sound. They might even have a service bulletin regarding this issue.
