Starting Up
Hello All, I Have An "88" Corolla Sedan. This Morning When I Went To Start My Car It Made A Bunch Of Ticking Noise. So I Turn The Key Back To The Off Position And Try To Restart The Car. It Started Up Very Slowly. Is It Possible For The Starter To Freeze Up? Is It Bad Or Could It Be The Battery? Please Help. Thank You

Re: Starting Up
ticking noise is the battery. if the engine doesn't turn over and all u hear is click click click then it is the battery. u should get a new one.

I had the same probs with my 90 corolla and it was water getting into the starter, and freezing up the brushes...ie...needed a new starter
