beeping electric windows rover 800

For the last week or so the electric windows have been bleeping when opetated, they still operate correctly. At the same time when left overnight, the battery appears to go flat, however when connected to a very slow and small charger, it registers as full almost immediatley, and the car starts...
can anyone suggest where to start looking for thie fault?

try opeing and closing each window in turn, then the sunroof starting with the drivers. Hold the swich down for 2 seconds when the window reaches the top, then again at the bottom.Same with the sunroof. This shouls stop the bleeping.
