325e performance upgrades

Hi, my 325e motor has died. Want to rebuild it into a 2.7 high compression motor, any one done this before? Exactly what parts do I need? Many Thanks!

Less expensive to put in a 325I engine, has less c.c.'s but has more torque. The I model was the sports car version of the 325 class. Hpoe this helps. later Mark.
